Last summer, I had the opportunity to explore Moundsville and it was such a memorable experience. One of the highlights for me was visiting the West Virginia State Penitentiary. The guided tour was fascinating and I learned so much about the facility's history and infamous inmates. Another must-visit attraction is the Fostoria Glass Museum. The glassware on display is absolutely stunning and it was interesting to learn about the history of glassmaking in the area. Moundsville definitely exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to go back and discover even more hidden gems in the area!
