Spending New Year's Day in Portland was an amazing experience! I started my day by going on a hike in Forest Park. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, especially with the fresh coat of snow from the previous night. After the hike, I headed to Powell's City of Books, which is a book lover's paradise. I spent hours browsing through their extensive collection and ended up finding a few gems to take home. To end the day, I went to a local brewery for a beer tasting and discovered some unique and delicious craft beers. It was a memorable way to start the year in Portland!

I visited Portland last year on New Year's Day and it was such a vibrant city! The first thing I did was head to the Portland Art Museum for their special New Year's exhibition. It was a great way to start the year surrounded by beautiful artwork. After that, I walked around the city and stumbled upon the waterfront, where there was a lively farmers market happening. I couldn't resist grabbing some freshly baked pastries and coffee to enjoy by the river. It was a perfect way to spend a relaxed and enjoyable New Year's Day in Portland!
