The beach is spacious and clean with spectacular views of the ocean and the city skyline. Moreover, it is a leash-free beach, which means your dog can run and play without any restrictions.

Before heading to the beach, ensure that your dog is up-to-date with their vaccinations and is comfortable around other dogs. It's also essential to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and towels. The sand can get hot, so try to avoid the peak hours of the day when it's the hottest.

Fiesta Island

If you're looking for a less crowded place to take your pooch, consider heading to Fiesta Island. It's located in Mission Bay and is surrounded by water on all sides, making it a perfect place for your water-loving dog. The island's vast space provides plenty of room for your pooch to run and play, and there are also several trails for people to walk or jog.

Final Thoughts

Going to the beach with your dog is an excellent way to spend quality time together and soak up the sun. Whether you choose to visit Coronado Dog Beach or Fiesta Island, both provide an incredible experience for both you and your furry friend.
