Living in New Jersey, October is hands down my favorite month of the year. One thing I always look forward to is exploring the local farmers markets that pop up throughout the state. From fresh produce to homemade crafts, these markets have it all. I also highly recommend taking a day trip to the Jersey Shore before it gets too cold. The beaches are less crowded and you can still enjoy a leisurely walk along the boardwalk. Lastly, don't miss out on attending a fall festival. They often feature live music, food trucks, and fun activities for the whole family. There's no shortage of exciting things to do in NJ in October!

I moved to New Jersey last year and I have been blown away by the amazing things to do in October. One of my favorite activities is attending the annual apple picking festivals. There's nothing quite like plucking a juicy apple straight from the tree. Another fun thing to do is visit the various haunted attractions in the state. From haunted houses to haunted hayrides, there's no shortage of scares in October. And of course, how could I forget about the delicious fall treats? The pumpkin spice lattes and apple cider donuts are a must-try. October is definitely a month of fun and festivities in NJ!
